Wicked Relief for a Wicked Fun Run!

Wicked Relief for a Wicked Fun Run!

This Sunday, October 30, 2016, join CryoWellnessUSA and hundreds of metro Detroiters for some spooktacular fun during Kona Running Co.’s annual Wicked Halloween Run. As Michigan’s largest Halloween-themed run, metro Detroiters of all ages will don their most spirited costumes and haunt the starting line at Kellogg Park to run and/or walk a 10K, 5K, or Monster Mile.

At CryoWellnessUSA, we specialize in providing cold comfort through cryotherapy. Cryotherapy takes place in a cryosauna where patients stand for three minutes or less while they’re exposed to super-chilled air. Temperatures range from minus 170 to 270 degrees below Fahrenheit. You can read more about the benefits of cryotherapy HERE.

Wicked Relief

CryoWellnessUSA is offering wicked relief for runners, FREE OF CHARGE!! Even the most seasoned runners can experience monstrous soreness after a run. That’s why we’ll be on site at the Race Expo on Saturday, Oct. 29 at PARC to demonstrate products and speak with runners.

Then, on race day, Sunday, Oct. 30 you’ll find us in Kellogg Park and at our location directly across from the park at 444 S. Main Street to help relieve post-race aches and jumpstart your body’s recovery with our NormaTec systems.

NormaTec delivers intermittent pneumatic compression. Here’s how it works: air is pumped into inflatable boots while you sit comfortably. The system is designed to improve circulation and speed recovery.

The Magic of NormaTec

Great for pre and post runs, NormaTec is the leading technology for rapid recovery. Using a specialized massage pattern, compressed air massages limbs and helps mobilize body fluids delivering relief from muscle soreness and inflammation.

Goodies and Grub

All participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and are encouraged to enjoy a fearsome post-race food buffet as they await the results of the costume contest. 10K and 5K participants will also stand out with glow-in-the-dark medals and Road Runner hats.

Patient Testimonials

Cryotherapy has improved my quality of life. I have IBS-D, chronic back pain, and I have occasional pain in my left breast/chest from cancer surgery/treatment. The first few treatments reduced the inflammation in my back and I was pain free for eleven hours. After about eight treatments, the IBS-D symptoms were getting better and now after each treatment, I am pain free for 10 to 13 hours. I am able to consume foods in limited quantities that I have been avoiding for years. Another wonderful benefit is my increased energy level. My mind is very clear and I have energy to study and complete tasks. I recommend cryotherapy treatments to everyone!
